Ahh, the perks of working at a tiny rural school…
Yesterday, the 6th grade teacher asked me if we could use 4th period (English class) to go plant some seeds in the school garden because it was supposed to rain in the afternoon. Of course I immediately obliged haha.
We planted some Korean lettuce, cherry tomatoes and small pumpkins. (The rest of the rows are saved for the other grades.) It started drizzling a little but the kids and I went on planting the baby plants.
Ta-da! The 6th grade rows finished 🙂
I’m going to really miss the cozy, family-like atmosphere at this school when I leave!
